Install and configure
1. Install the extension from Zoho marketplace
- Access Zoho CRM and go to Settings > Marketplace > All
- Search for D7SMS, select it, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
2. Generate D7SMS Token:
The D7SMS connection utilizes OAuth 2.0-based Bearer token authentication, and you can create this token at the API Tokens section of app.d7networks.com
Here are the step-by-step instructions to create the token:
- Signup with app.d7networks.com
- Navigate to https://app.d7networks.com/api-tokens
- Click on "Create App"
- Enter an Application Name and click "Save."
- On the next window, click on "Generate Token," and copy the generated token.
3. Update API Details on the extension:
- Navigate to Settings > Marketplace > All > Installed > D7SMS > Configure.
- Click on the Edit symbol next to "Extension Settings."
- Update the "D7API Token" with the token generated from the D7 dashboard.
- The default value of "Sender Name" is "D7-Zoho." Change it only if you've purchased SenderID or a dedicated number (VLN).
