Create an account with D7

It is necessary to create a D7 account in order to send messages through the D7 gateway. Using a trial account is also possible without making a purchase.

Get "AlertScriptsPath" of Zabbix

Get "AlertScriptsPath" of Zabbix setup from zabbix_server.conf (also you can get the default path from the following command) and navigate to the same. Default AlertScriptsPath is: /usr/lib/zabbix/alertscripts

Download D7SMS script

Download the D7SMS script and make it executable

Replace the "D7TOKEN" in the script

Replace the "D7TOKEN" in the script with the token you obtained from https://app.d7networks.com/api-tokens.

Test The Script

You can now test the script using the command given (remember to replace the destination number).

Create Media Type and Add Template

Open the Zabbix panel, navigate to Alerts > Media Types, click Create media type, and input the details. Click on the Message Templates tab on the same window and click Add. Select Message Type as Problem, and you will get a predefined script. Click on add.Now add one more template for Recovery. Select Message type Problem Recovery and click add. Click on Update once you've added all the templates.

Update The User

Once created media type, Goto Users and click on the desired User. Then select the Media tab and click on Add and then Click on Update.
